Is this possible?
Running the game in Commish mode. Is it possible to set it up in a way that I have to approve all trades before they go thru(when the teams are under AI control)?
Thanks in advance. |

I don't think so, outlaw. AI trades seem to happen instantaneously as long as two AI teams are involved. Let's see if anybody else has a comment one way or another.
EDIT: Hmmm. I myself have a follow-up comment. As commissioner, you can always undo the trade by either editing player profiles or forcing a trade in reverse. You may want to edit player history and news stories as well, if mentions of the trades that you "annulled" as commissioner bother you. Last edited by 1998 Yankees; 09-05-2008 at 09:02 PM. |

Thanks for the comment. On your follow up point; is it possible to edit the transactions page to remove it also?

\data\saved_games\[your league name].lg\news\txt\teams and are contained in files titled like this one: team_253_all_transactions.txt and are described in lines within those files, like this one: "20011028 Traded 26-year old reliever J. Banks to the Maine Woodsmen, getting 25-year old left fielder A. Smith in return." (Heh, it actually contains html tags that I cannot show you here because the forum program shows them the same way your game does, but you get the idea). A couple more points. This same trade was also listed in league transaction text files called: league_100_transactions.txt AND league_100_all_transactions.txt in the folder: \data\saved_games\[your league name].lg\news\txt\leagues Now this is starting to look like a lot of work. However, consider this: How long do you keep your transaction files (Global Setup, Auto-Save & Log Options)? I don't keep mine and if you are like me then it will not matter. The player histories are important to me, however, but those you can easily edit by clicking the Edit History button in the History page of a Player Profile.
