Tie for wildcard not letting the League go into playoffs

In my MLB quickstart league Kansas City and Seattle finished the year tied for the wildcard. I thought that a one game playoff was going to be automatically scheduled but it wasnt, i did it my self hoping that that would lead to the league to go into the playoffs but it didnt, it just stays in the regular season and its october 12 well past the last day of the regular season.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? thanks in advance

When you created the game what type of game did you set it up to be in the schedule editor?

i made it a regular season game so that it would affect the standings and declare a winner for the wildcard

Can you get a screenshot of your standings screen as it stands at the moment?

Press PrtScn and paste it into MS Paint and then save as jpeg and attach to your reply.

Heres the shot,
note that at the very top it says that my league is still in spring training, thats because it never rolled over to the regular season, i posted the problem in this forum a while back but i noticed that i could still play the season normally even with that there.

That'll be the problem then, it being stuck in Spring Training. The question now is why is it stuck in ST. Was this a 08 Rosters set game that you created?

yea it was the 08 roster set,
at the time that i figured out it was going to be stuck in spring training i tested the game out and simulated all the way into the playoffs to see precisely if this type of thing would happen, and the playoffs were fine

i beleive the problem comes from when there is a tie for a playoff spot, it happened in another league of mine, a dominican minor league with a three way tie for the wild card... i let that one go as it wasnt that important..but now my major league is having the same problem.. heres a shot from that minor league

So this is the second season of this league (I've just noticed it says 2009)?

Did the first season go through ok, or is it actually still the first season in game?

yea second season.. sorry i didnt mention that.. the only other changes to that roster file is that i added a japanese league and dominican league

Could you follow the instructions in the following thread http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-files-us.html and let us know what file name you have used when you've done this and then someone will be able to have a look at your files.
