OOTP 6.5 League - Openings

We started with 2007 rosters and just started the 2016 season.

We currently have open:

The Boston Red Sox (4-2, #3 Farm)
The New York Yankees (6-1, Back to Back Division Winner)
The Minnesota Twins (4-4, rebounded to a 75 win season last year, #5 Farm)
The Milwaukee Brewers (4-3, three consecutive 80+ win seasons. #13 Farm)
The Philadelphia Phillies (0-7, 79 wins last year, #11 Farm)
The Washington Nationals (5-2, 71 wins last year, #14 Farm)
The Colorado Rockies (2-6, consistent team - every year > 70 wins, #17 Farm)

Owning the game is not a necessity, but is encouraged.

We have enabled:

40-man Rosters / Waivers / Rule V / Minor League FAs
Free Agent Compensation
Cash Cap of $75M which will be slowly decreasing over the coming seasons
"Luxury Tax / Soft Cap" which causes dollar for dollar tax on payrolls over $100,000,000
Some limited "Point Spending" on players to aid in development
Use of an Export Tracker to see when/if you last exported

Sims are five days a week in ten day increments, often running Sunday - Thursday. A week ahead calendar is posted to alert of any changes in sims.

Right now we are toying with new ways to keep interest in the 6.5 league, so if you have ideas in how to improve a league and are looking to have them implemented soon, then come join us

Although there are a lot of openings, the majority of the league 18+ owners has been with us from day one, and several others from a season or two in. If you are interested in joining a league with some history but open to some change, check us out.
