Historical players' ratings

I've noticed that sometimes when I create a historical league I see player ratings, sometimes not. What am I doing wrong when they don't show?

Maybe its the scouts are turned off or on?

Have you checked that you have ratings turned on? On Game Setup -> Global Setup there is the ratings scales section, where you can set the ratings scales to various choices. One of those choices is "none displayed".
You probably have checked that already, but if not, that might be the issue.

Thanks, but that's not it. I've tried the 20-scale and 5-scale, but still nothing shows.

Is it all ratings or just positional ratings? Some players don't import with ratings at their positions. I'm guessing it's all ratings, but figured I would throw this out there.

Nope, just the opposite. The positional ratings are there but not the hitting and pitching.

I'd have to go back to whether or not you have scouts turned on. Do you?
