Help - LOTS of questions for Veteran users
Hey guys...I'm new to OOTP (recently switched over from Baseball Mogul). I'm not really familiar with things here at all. But I do have a couple questions that hopefully some of you veteran members can help me with:
Part A: #1 - What is the "best" (opinions welcome) Roster set for MLB AND MiLB 2008? #2 - What is the "best" player photo set for MLB AND MiLB 2008? #3 - Is there a mod for all the MLB and MiLB logos (2008)? #4 - Is there a mod that has ALL of the leagues from around the world...MLB, Japan, etc., that interacts at the same time with all the real-life players from MLB? #5 - Is there a mod that has the rosters for MLB updated with accurate 2008 player salaries? #6 - Is there a mod that has all of the team budgets, etc. up to date and with real life figures? With all of that comes a few other questions that I hope someone can help with... Part B: #1 - How "accurate" is the OSB Scouting? #2 - Can I put the above mods in at the same time to work with the same league - meaning if there is a good MLB and a separate MiLB set can I put them both into the same league? I know thats a LOT of questions but, as I said, I'm simply very unfamiliar with this stuff. Hopefully someone has a few answers for me, and that would be extremely helpful. If someone is bored and would like to help me out, my AIM is mattygerst17 and I'd appreciate any help and assistance. Thanks guys. |

Well, I can't say much to most of your questions, since I usually just play historical leagues. However, for your question on scouting, this thread http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...velopment.html has a few opinions on it. You can probably search and find some more on the board. Hope this helps you a little, though.

You'll find almost everything you're looking for at PadreFans' web site. It's all a matter of opinion and testing yourself to determine what is best. That's part of the fun.
