MLB Rosters w/ Fictional Teams?

Is it possible to play with 2008 MLB rosters, but using fictional teams? I was sniffing around in the Mods thread and fell in love with some of the fictional team logos/uniforms and thought it would be fun to use those with today's real players.

Hmmm. Slight more interested in OOTP in this thread, eh? Perhaps the gentleman doth protest too much in the other one.

Sure. What's to stop you from changing the league and team names in League Setup, Names & Affiliations, downloading some of the mods that you are talking about, and setting up your fantasy MLB league? You may even want to Release All Players & Schedule Inaugural Draft if you want to change the rosters and still using the real 2008 MLB players.
