Custom Photos in OOTP 9 help
Ok so in previous versions of OOTP if i wanted to use a custom photo for a player all i had to do was make sure that the photo:
1. Used proper naming [firstname_lastname] 2. Was in .jpeg format 3. Was placed in the /data/photos directory However when i do this with OOTP9 and select "new photo" I get the facegen photo. How do i make the player use the properly named photo file? Thank you, |

Ideally, if your league has already been created, you should put the photos in:
yourleague.lg\news\html\images If you put them in data\photos, the game will pick them up when creating new players or when starting new games, but I don't believe it will pick them up for players that already have fictional photos created. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, it's possible. )

If you update a photo in the "images" file of your league, then the next time the PHOTO loads it will be the updated picture. I'll use this as an example since i do it a lot: A player comes up to bat and you notice that they don't have an updated picture. You find the new pic and replace the old one in your images file. The next time the game has to load the pic, whether it be when the player comes out to play defence or their next at bat, the new picture will display instead of the old one. Hope this helps. |

That's true on replacing an existing photo. It's not true if you try to put in a new photo that didn't exist before you loaded the game.
