BZ 1811: PBP keeps saying the game is over.
Here is the situation. I was down 5-3 going into top of 9th.
Hit a solo HR so 5-4... I end up tying the game later that inning on the play that resulted in the 3rd out and the PBP said... "It's ok though because the game is tied thanks to Brouhard's game tying single" "Rangers win the game 5-4 (score prior to play)" Game plays on still. 5-5 still... Then in the top of the 11th I score 3 on a bases loaded double where the batter gets tossed out trying to move up to 3rd (for the 3rd out). And the PBP says "That's the 3rd out, Texas wins the game 5 to 5. (score prior to play)" Game plays on. Bottom of 11th plays normally and game ends as it should. So the game play is fine, just a weird bug in the PBP. Freaked me out at first, glad to see the game played as it should. Last edited by CecilCooper; 07-28-2008 at 11:23 AM. |

9.1.6 craziness in pbp
Top of the 10th, 7-7 ballgame between Detroit and San Francisco. Tigers have runners on first and second with two out. Batter gets a base hit and the throw to the plate is cut off by the shortstop and the runner on first is thrown out at third.
pbp says "and that's the ballgame. San Francisco wins 7-7." Game continues on correctly, however. The game log shows the runner on 2nd scored before the out was recorded at third, and it went to the bottom of the 10th with the score 8-7 Tigers.

This issue has been claimed fixed for the upcoming patch (post 9.1.6). If after installing it you still see this behavior, please post in Tech Support. Thanks.
