BZ 1898: Inability to Delete in Mac OS X

This has to be something I did, but I must be honest I simply don't know what. I had an earlier issue with file creation from using a file name that was too large.

Now the files I created I can't delete. I've also created some new files with the same results. Below is a screenshot of the error message. I've never write protected a file so I don't know how this is happening.

I'm on OS X 10.3.9. Thanks in advance.

Interesting to note: OOTP 8 Deleted the OOTP 9 files for me without this error???

Already done a clean reinstall with no results. Verified & Repaired permissions on the disk, and nothing. Stumped on this one. Game works though, and I can delete in OOTP 8 if need be, which is far faster than using the trash.

BTW: This is not just an issue with the cached saved league. It's any saved league.

Still there. No change in the issue, and I did a complete (totally complete) re-install on the game. No files can be deleted whatsoever.

Edit: I just saw the 9.1.5 patch thread.

I didn't want it forgotten about. I sent my files to Markus regarding this. It remains an issue in OOTP 9.1.6.
