major talent drops after patch

So I installed the new patch during my offseason. When I simmed to the preseason I noticed almost every player on my team had major talent drops. Many of these players went from an 80 potential to 30 or less. The scouting report was from the same scout. Anybody else have this issue after installing the patch? I know that this happens sometimes, and I've seen the posts listing players like Dontrelle Willis and so on and have posted examples myself, but the whole team dropping is a little ridiculous. I couldn't find a single player who actually got better.

Did you keep the same scouting accuracy in the global setup?

Here is a screenshot of my development report. I'm at the point now where I'm thinking I'll need to start my league all over again. It ruins the game for me a little when this sort of thing happens.

I didn't change any settings. Just overwrote the .exe file with the new one and continued simming.

Hmmm, apparently my development report is a little small.

I've noticed the same in my league... though I did not touch the scouting accuracy option. Maybe I'll look into that...

When I installed 9.1.2 it reset the scouting accuracy back to normal, I had it set at high.

I've never touched the scouting accuracy so I'm assuming its always been set at normal. Besides, even if it was a scouting accuracy issue wouldn't my scout be off both in the positive and negative direction? Shouldn't I have seen increases as well as decreases?

Anybody know what I can do to avoid this happening again? It has sort of ruined the game for me a little. If I turn scouting off will there still be randomness to if a player lives up to his potential? I like the idea of not knowing for sure if a young prospect will be as good as expected, however I don't like the idea of thinking I have some good young prospects and then a few months later they all look awful.
