A new ITP?

just wondering about a new ITP, since the demo came free with the OOTP 9 CD that i ordered. I been seeing ITP avaible for purchase for several years now, and never got along to even d/l a demo till my new cd came in.

i must say, i thought it was quite interesting, and was looking forward to being promoted in the next season when a box thingy popped up telling me i couldn't preceed to the next season since it was only a demo

was thinking for buying the game, but i thought...."nah, ill wait and see what happens, if the markus and co. decide to actually turn itp into a franchise."

At this time, there are no plans for a new version of ITP, sorry!

(though I never understood the point of trying to sleep with girls and stuff... and I do miss the aspect of being single vs. married in the old versions of OOTP

My question is since markus says that there should only be 1 more major patch, what will he do after the patch is out? I have an idea, how about a game where you could make a baseball player and run his whole career. You set up his training schedule and what he does in games. You buy gear, have relationships and get drunk. Just we would have to make sure that you have the option of buying steroids in the game. I think this type of game would be fun.

I just thought about this, its pretty sad that this kind of stuff is something people expect in baseball. What has happen to the game

I think Markus should do the following things:
1. Make sure there are no new bugs or issues introduced with the patch (1 week)
2. Take a long and well deserved vacation! (1 month or longer!)

Things Markus could do on vacation:
1. Play OOTP

2. Play other games! (variety is the spice of life....or so they say)
3. Watch and enjoy baseball
4. Travel
5. Rest!

Things Markus should not do on vacation:
1. Read the message boards!
2. Code!

But Markus always gets overworked during the release of the game and patches, and he tends not to watch his heathy enough durring these times, he needs and deserves another vacation.
