When does recalc occur?

I'm just curious about the calendar date which this occurs. Is it January 1, or is it some other date which depends on the league's schedule?

For my purposes, I'd like to see what positions the players will be rated for in the upcoming season.

Isn´t it when new stats are imported.
How can a recalc be any time else, the computer doesn´t know what to calculate on until it gets the new years stats for the player.
So first day of pre-season should be it.

Or am I totally wrong.

Hm I talk about historical imports of course...

It is the day after the season ends for existing/current players.

Rookies are "calculated" when they are imported either for the draft pool at the time you selected in the setup or at the start of the preseason if you do not have a draft.

Thanks, I do recall some DB activity occurring the day after the season, that makes sense.
