Problem with AI roster management

I just bought this game and I'm now testing all of its possibilities with the quick game that comes with the game (the ABA one). I think this game is great, but I have a problem.

I found out that the AI roster management only gave me 3 relievers to start the year in ML, AAA and AA, and my A team is stuck with all the pitchers. It also gave me in ML players that are A capable (and reverse). I also found out that all players that are not playing at the major league level, even those with a 20/20 overall, were angry for not being in the Big League.

Is it something I missed? Or is the AI just bad on this aspect?

I honestly haven't tried the ABA, but i do have a suggestion. In Game Setup\ League setup could you run computer manager on all teams and recheck what the AI has done with the players?
