Newbie here. Can I make a player better?

Hey, guys. Brand new to OOTP, and I have a question:

Being the Mariners homer that I am, I think Felix Hernandez is a good deal better than the game thinks he is. Is there a way for me to up his skills?

If you're playing in Commissioner mode, you can go into the editor tab on his player screen and up his ratings there.

I'm going to move this thread to New to the Game as that is the forum for people who are new to the game and want more advice.

There's no bad involved. I happen to think newbs get better service over here whereas some questions get buried on the currently busy General Discussions board.
