Help with using a randomized database.

Hi I'm trying to create a league with random debut years and have downloaded 2 seperate files one is supposed to be ready to go,the other is to create your own DB.Sorry to the modder who made these as I dont know the name of the creator.Anyhow to the most basic setup I'm trying to create a random debut league using historical setup,it seems to load the database just fine but my league creations are not correct.I keep getting only eight teams or the entire National division, with the American division left blank.I'm also unable to create the missing teams as it says its a hisotric league.
Can anybody help me with this problem? Or how d you go about setting up a random debut league? Also I'm a total noob at excell and access so if you have the patience could I get some help (a thorough walk through) on creating new databases with the provided files?
But again my top priority is to be able to get the random database to load correctly and for the game to correctly create the teams I need.

Please explain what you are trying to accomplish.

I may be able to help even though I have never used nor seen the randomized db somebody in a galaxy far far away made a long time ago.

Thank you for responding I was giving up on the idea that someone would try and help.
Their is a random database created using the Lahman db csv version, the original modder (I dont see his name on mod) then created a random debut year for all the players in it.It has all the necessary files required to use it just as you would to import a true historic league. My only problem is when I try to use it to create my initial league starting at 1900 it only creates the national league teams and leaves the american division blank. So 8 of 16 teams in 1 of 2 divisions are being created. And since its a historically created league I'm unable to manually edit,or add the required teams. So basically I get from loading the database fine to loading teams and thats where I get stuck.
Maybe I need to create the league using the standard "real database" to get my teams going, then delete those players created alongside it, and somehow import the random players from the random debut database?

The file teams.csv is where OOTP gets its team names and alignments from. The one included in the random db may be corrupted. If you just want the normal alignment throw that one away and copy the standard Lahman teams.csv into its place in the folder where you have all the random db stuff stored.

PS: The American League did not exist until 1901.

I've been busy with things but I hope late tonight to forward league ahead one year to 1901 and see if that helps resolve the issue. The random database must require the full or minimum of 16 teams to work.Just a guess from the errors I received.Anyhow now that I have another reason why I cannot get it to work I hope it now will be succesful.
Thanks Again,
