Disabling fictional player creation

Can't find an answer to this question. Please forgive me if it has been answered elsewhere, before.

Is there any way to disable the automatic creation of fictional players? I am trying to run a strictly historical league.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Strictly historical...

disable the Amatuer draft by unchecking the box so when the next year real players come in they go to their correct teams, and play without minor leagues using the expanded roster size instead. That'll keep those fictional buggers away!
