Strange crash to desktop in 6.51a

I'm not sure how often anyone looks at this thread anymore, but I thought I'd take a shot.

I've recently started a new association using 6.51a. I had played/simmed a month's worth of games, and when I booted up the game tonight, the association's players seem to have disappeared!

The league standings page contains all the association's teams with their records, but the league leaders lists are blank. When I try to click on a team name, the game crashes to the desktop. Same thing when I try to visit the League News pages.

Clicking on League Schedule gives me a list of the games that should be played on May 1, but there are no starting pitchers listed.

It appears that any function that has to do with the association's players causes the game to crash to the desktop.

I'm not having this problem with any of the other associations I have on 6.51a, only this one.

Any ideas about what could be wrong?
