BZ 1573: Unable to render font glyph??????

I have the UN-patched version. Was playing a game , just started in fact and switched to PbP mode just to see what the options were, when I switched back I got that error message, followed by a crash to desktop . Needless to say, I lost my progress.. Shame on my for not implementing auto save.

I'm sure its an isolated incident but I thought I would mention it anyway.

This has been marked by the developers as something that cannot be reproduced. If anyone is having further trouble with this issue and can provide any further information, please do so.
