Quick question...

If I'm setting up a league and want to make everything run ok with a shorter schedule...Like if I want to make an 80 game schedule should i divide everything in half for the financials if the schedule is half? Anything else I would need to change as well?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the one thing that I would change on the entire Rules page, where the financials are set, is to cut the Minimum Days of Service for One Service Year in half - make it 86 or so.

Why change anything else (except the trading deadline and amateur draft dates perhaps)? Everything else is based on years of service, and what difference does it make whether you are making $15MM for playing 162 games or 80?

Make sense? Try a test league and see.
