Unzip Modded Files?

I understand how to take the modded files and get them into the proper files in the game but I left them in their original zipped versions when I put them in...

Will the game unzip them or do I need to unzip and extract them to my desktop and then drag and drop them into the appropriate folders?

Thanx!

You have to unzip them.

I did that idividually with things like historical ballparks, because there's only sixteen but some of these facepacks have thousands of players in them...how do you do it so you don't have to deal with each and every one individually?

Thanks for helping me out on this...it's my lack of pc knowledge that's been the recurring problem...

When you unzip them, they should all unzip into one folder. You can then open the folder, hold down the control key in conjunction with "C". This will copy the files to your clipboard. Then open the appropriate folder where they go, click inside it anywhere and hit control "V". This will paste them all into that folder.

You could also extract them from the xzip file directly into the correct folder. This would be the best option and save you from moving them all after.

Thanks again for your speedy and informative reply...

The problem is that some of them open into a folder and some of them show all the individual files that would be witin that folder for some reason...

I'd like to use the second option you suggested but when I hit the 'extract to' button the destination that are options are:

Desktop
My Documents
All the folders on my desktop, etc...

Since the folder within the game are accessed by going through 'my docucuments' (where the OOTP game files are) I'd assume they should go there...

But when I do that, I just end up with a folder in the 'my documents' section and I don't seem to be able to get it anywhere from there...

This is probably really obvious to anyone who know what they're doing...but my computer knowlege is juct basic internet, email, etc...

I'm still suprised I figured out how to use a MaxDrive to get files into my PS2!

Ugh!

Continued thanx

What you need to do is drill down to the correct folder. To do this, Dbl click on My Documents. This will open your My Documents folder, where you will see all the folders in there. Then Dbl click on the OOTP Developments Folder, then on the OOTP9 folder, etc etc. Keep Dbl clicking on folders until you get to the folder you want the files to go into.

This sounds like it will work!

I'll give it a try and (hopefully) owe you bigtime!

Thank you VERY much!
