BZ 428/1534: Unable to delete games

Hi,

When I go into "Load Game" and click on one of my saved leagues and try to delete it through the game, it goes through all of actions like it is deleting the league, but the league name is still there the next time I go into "Load Game".

It says that there is a way to delete league by going into the data folder, but I don't see any league data in my data folder. It's annoying becuse I like to create a bunch of test leagues while I am learning the game, but its starting to clog up my "Load Game" screen.

Am I doing something wrong?

Your leagues are in the OOTP Baseball 9\saved_games folder.

It is roughly 17.8518 times faster to delete leagues through Windows Explorer than through OOTP.

Faster or not, the in-game delete function worked properly in OOTP 2007. In Version 9, it appears the process hangs and doesn't finish.

The function deletes all files in the folder, but leaves the folder. You have to manually delete the .lg folder to get rid of it from your list of saved games. Markus is aware of the problem, it was noticed early in beta testing.

I am having the same problem with trying to delete games and then having it hang. I tried unistalling, redownloading and reinstalling but they are still there. Any other ideas?

When you uninstall the documents/OOTP/saved_games folder isn't altered at all. You need to go into your documents folder then the OOTP Baseball 9 folder then the saved_games folder and manually delete the .lg folder you don't want anymore.
