Copying the 1914 Leagues with Later Players

The new edition may be ale to do something with this idea, but here's an odd one -- not a true historical league, but it seems to fit here. The idea is to copy the players from a year with larger major leagues into the league and team structure of the 1914 season, which featured three eight-team leagues including the Federals.

The result would be interesting, if bizarre.

Ive done it, but the limitations on league structure force you to create two supra-leagues, one with the MLB setup and one just for the FL. Thus, no way to create a true World Series, two separate history/leaders sections, conflicted player record totals, etc.

The easiest way involves d/l of the desired db season, creation of the desired league structures, and then-in commish mode-transferring the real teams into the fictional structure. There are a lot of additional steps/fine-tuning involved, but the result is do-able.
