Question OOTP9 - ballast for Europeans

Pre-order campaign is cool, I am just wondering why there are two prices set: EUR 24.99 and USD 24.99? Is that meant that those from Europe must by default add 50% tag on the top?

Aren't us Europeans accustomed to getting screwed like this?

Price difference

I read that post about pricing policy and have bought the game as i wanted it BUT I also wrote and complained about that very policy. I got no reply and subsequently found that thread on the forums.

Despite what their reasons state for this, I buy a number of games and programmes over the internet and OOTP is the ONLY one from Europe where I pay a premium price - all the rest if they say dollars they charge in dollars. OOTP9 was offered in the e-mail in US Dollars but no way would it let me pay in US Dollars - hence I have paid FAR more than the Tax difference between a US Dollar Price and a UK pounds equivalent and was unable to actually pay what was offered to me.

I think they should review this for future releases.

I could see EA getting ahold of it. You'd get 3d gameplay at the cost of everything that makes the game great. But hey, you'd get 3d graphics.

The question is are all the rest a company based in the US or in Europe? If based in the US then they have no reason to charge anything other then the US Dollar.

As stated in my comment "is the ONLY one from Europe" - although in these internet days you can never be sure where anyone is. BUT then again isnt the OOTP shop based in USA where you pay too ?
