demo's are needless as we can all assure you the only things you could want from a baseball game that arn't included in OOTP is a hotdog and a beer..... and maybe an annoying drunk guy to sit behind you and shout obscenities at your moniter, and I can help you with that for like $20

Funny, they seem to be included in most of my OOTP, umm, "sessions."

Could explain why I've never made the playoffs. I must've gotten the deluxe edition.

I'd help with that just for the hot dog and beer.

Well, I guess if we're really talking realism, and realistic ballpark factors, the guy offering to do it for 20 bucks might be cheaper, no?

Cheap beers, such as Bud Light, Coors Light, etc., cost $7.25 at Fenway right now. Good beers, like Guinness, Sam Adams, Bass, etc., cost $7.50. I spent the extra quarter.

Hot dogs are $5.

I can partially understand the high cost of alcohol at a sporting event. First, people are going to buy booze anyways so it makes the provider a ton of money. Second, the high cost might help keep some of those people from drinking too much and getting belligerent. If the beers cost $4 to $5 like they do at most area bars, that's three beers for the price of two at Fenway.

When Markus figures out how to download a hotdog and a beer with the game, will he charge ballpark prices for them?

I always try a demo before buying a game and will do so with this one. I'm waiting out of principle.

You are going to buy it anyway...you know you are, so get it while it is cheaper. I used to be like that with games but once I made the commitment to download the demo, my mind had already been made up about getting the full version. Demos never really tell you the whole story of a game anyway, especially sim ones.
I hated spending 40 bucks on a game but hey, I have already gotten my money's worth, so I did the right thing. In fact, I can't get away from the thing to get anything else done around here. Good thing I am no longer married. So, I can play 24 hrs a day if I want....and have been close to doing that a few times!!
Buy it for the discount price. You won't be sorry!
