stopping trading

I'm new to the game & in an historical league/replay where I want to play the stock teams as is how do I stop the trade feature to stop...?, thanks

Go to the dropdown Game menu at the top of your screen. Then Game Setup > League Setup > Rules. On that screen you should see that the third section down is Trade Rules. Simply uncheck the Player Trades section.
