Starting Lineup Change

I am playing a historical league and am managing a team. The AI is making a change in my starting lineup. It has made the same change for 3 consecutive days now.

I have the manger options set to be controlled by me.

My lineups for all pitcher variations include the player I want to start.

All the depth charts show my player starting, a utility1 player to start "if starter tired" and utility2 player to start "never". It is the utility2 player that the AI is moving into the starting lineup.

The player that is removed from the lineup staus is "OK", and rest status is "100% - rested".

I am playing OOTP 8 version 8.0.0.13.

Are you actually signed as the GM of the team, or are you Acting As the GM in commissioner mode? Are you listed in the Team Personnel screen?

I am actually signed as the GM and not playing in Commissioner Mode.

I am not listed in the Team Personnel screen. This screen is blank. I am not using the Scouting System or Coaching System.

Are you certain that you are using the correct lineup, i.e. that you are not editing lineups vs no DHs when your team is playing with DH rules?

Do your seven day lineups have anyone set in them?

I am playing without DH. I have left the DH lineups blank. Lineup for both LHP and RHP are the same.

Further information - I continued to play and the problem continued for several days. Then, due to injury, I changed my starting lineup so that the player that the AI was substituting erroneously was starting at a different position.

After a couple of weeks, the injured player returned to the lineup and the player the AI was substituting was returned to a reserve role. The problem has not recurred.

So, the problem has somehow corrected itself, but.....why did it happen and will it happen again? Will this happen if I am simming? I only noticed this because I was actually playing each game and reviewing the lineup.

Not sure what to expect here unless it happens again. If you see it, please post a link to this thread in Tech Support and we'll try to work it out. For now, I'll close this one out.
