Saving issues with a Mac
I moved my data files over to a new Mac, ad while OOTP 8 loads them no problem, whenever i make changes, it does not actually save anything. This includes when i actually try to save the game and when it shuts down and tries to automatically save.
Anyone have any thought on this? Searched but haven't seen anyone with this problem, just lots of crashes due to Facegen issues. |

What does the game display when you try to save your league? Does it look like it normally would when you are trying to save?

Yes, it looks exactly the same. But instead of taking 30-60 seconds to save the game, it takes 3 seconds and just disappears.

Do you have to do anything unusual at all when loading up your saved games?

Nope, I get the "continue game" button on the main screen, and it takes a few to load it up, but that's it. Just as it used to do on my old mac.

What if, instead of using the Continue Game button, you try the Load Game option?

Could this have something to do with licensing issues?

I actually fixed it. The database files were all read only for some reason. Stupid me should have looked there first. But thanks for taking the time to help Nutlaw.
