Assigning Awards

I just bought OOTP 8! It is my third upgrade of this fantastic game. I have three questions.

1.How do I manually assign the winners for the awards?

2.How do I create a new award, such as "World Series MVP"?

3. How do I generate a 'greatest teams in history' league? Should I use the Lahmann database for this and where do I store it?

I have been puzzling over this stuff all morning and finally realized I needed some help.

1. near the end of the year one of the first options under the league menuewill be "Vote for awards", whatever you vote for will be the winner (unless it's an online league).

2. when your seting up the league or on the league setup page, one of the option is custom award. y only get 1 custom award per league.

3. Yes, in OOTP 8 it already has the Lahmann DB stored somewhere use that, there should be a few post to help you with that, check the FAQ or Mods sections.

Thanks a lot. I didn't scroll down far enough to see the slot for the custom award. The feature allowing me to vote for the awards sounds great. I'll try and figure out the 'greatest teams' league.
