Minors system

How do I have the cpu manage my minors. I mean it's a cool system but when it gets to the next season and all my minors personnel (coaches and scouts) leave and I have to try and revamp ALL of the organizations coaches it's pretty tedious. If anyone can tell me about this it'd be greatly appreciated.

If you're referring to lineups, pitching rotations and transactions, then go to your options screen under the Manager tab and you can set these things to be controlled by the Minor League manager.

The other thing to do to simplify these things is to go to each Minor League organization and have the Manager set the pitching and lineups under the action tab.

Hope this is what you were looking for. (just re-read your post and the above is probably not a help)

Try checking on the status of your personnel prior to season's end and re-sign any that are in their last year. Usually those in the Minors will re-sign for similar money to their current contract.

yeah i usually do all my resigning for coaches new years day. its really pretty simple and quick. what i do is i first go to my major club and glance to see if any contracts are expiring that year. i just right click press extension and they usally always sign.

after signing extensions with the major club i just click affliates (minor clubs attached to your main club) start with AAA and work my way down. a lot of time coaches may not re-up in lower level minors so ill just fire them and hire out of coach fa at that time rather wait and possibly be without a coach later in the year after his contract expires.

also in march (spring training) i go to transactions press action then press ask ai to setup complete minor league system. i do this each month until seasons end. i sometimes disagree with some of the ai's decisions but not worth worrying about unless they have a bluchip that should be in aaa in "a" ball.

a lot of this is repeating what tbone said figured id go into a bit more detail. good luck
