NOBS OOTP6.5/Fictional Seeks 2 Owners

NOBS is a 20-team OOTP6.5/Fictional league that is currently seeking active owners for the Kansas City Royals and Chicago Cubs. This is a stable and well-run league with a serious group of owners. Our 7th season will begin Monday night with round one of the rookie draft being held live on AIM. We've already had eleven trades this offseason as the teams prepare for the new season.

The philosophy of NOBS is "all baseball - no BS". We have a firm $80 million dollar salary cap to prevent the rich teams from dominating the competition. We've kept our rules simple and don't have non-OOTP6.5 supported features. We don't have things like feeder leagues, restricted free agents, franchise players, compensatory draft picks, participation points, or anything that is decided by the throw of a dice.

All NOBS owners must own OOTP6.5.

The Royals (60-102) had the worst record in the league last year and are in need of a complete rebuild. The pitching is a mess, but the team has some veteran hitters that would have some trade value. The Royals have the #1 overall pick in the upcoming rookie draft.

Chicago (96-66) had the second best overall record in the league last year and Cubs players managed to win both the MVP and the Cy Young awards. Unfortunately, they finished 11 games behind the league champion Atlanta Braves. This is a solid veteran team with an excellent chance of reaching the playoffs for the 4th straight year.
