Some newbie questions

Hey all .

Just bought the game a few days ago and it looks great , finnely a worthy baseball game in the market .
Anyway , i've got a few questions :
1. I saw that the scoring of the attributes of the players goes from 0 to 15 at my team (Minor league) , What's the highest ?
2. There's no sound in the game ? that's quite depressing . How do you overcome that from your exp. ? Listening to music ?
3. As i said , I'm coaching a minor league team . If i'm good enough , In the upcoming years i might be offered to go up to the next level or it hasn't been modeled in the game ?

Thanks in advance , That's it for now .

Welcome, Gavyl.

My input:
  1. By "scoring of the attributes of the players," I am assuming you mean their player ratings. If so, and your ratings are set to the 1 to 20 (min/bad to max/good) scale, then you are in fine shape. If, however, the scale is set for 1 to 100, you are in big trouble! You can check (and change) the ratings scale in your game by clicking Game, Game Setup, Global Setup.
  2. No, there is no sound in this version. The game had a complete overhaul in 2006 which introduced some great new features, but unfortunately some had to be (temporarily?) left behind due to limited development time and resources, we were told. Sound was one of them. Much talk has been heard here, and noticed by management, about the importance of sound in the game, and it could be on the drawing board for the next version.
  3. Yes, if you can bear the frustrations and inequities of managing in the minor leagues, with AI bosses constantly tinkering with your roster, and still do well, you are offered promotions to higher levels within your organization. And, if you choose to seek employment elsewhere, your opportunities will become more numerous and enticing with continued success when you choose to click Manager, Available Jobs.
