Game Crash in FA Signing

I have a 40-team fictional league, and, following my first season, the game crashes while signing free agents. After I click "Finsh Day" or "Finish All Days" on day 1, the status box flashes "Computer Offers (1/30)" breifly and then the game exits back to my desktop.

I'm running XP, OOTP 4.1, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Could be a problem w/ it being a 40 team league. I have never tried to have one, but have dealt with a number of folks that have had them or tried to have them and have had various problems with that particular setup. Try deleting 4 of the teams(keeping an equal number in each league) and then give it a shot.

Trimming the league to 36 did the trick. I should note that when you swap teams between divisions, the teams aren't taking their scouts with them.

Glad that worked, yeah the scouts thing is an issue that we know about already thanks for the info.
