Personality and Popularity
What are the effects on players/clubs of these ratings and to what degree (significant - insignificant):
Popularity (Local and National) Morale Leader Ability Loyalty Desire for Winning Team/Greed Intelligence Work Ethic I realize a couple might be really basic and obvious but I want to be sure. |

Well, loyalty and greed are kind of obvious as it will affect contract negotiations and such. If a guy is colored red in loyalty, he's much more likely to want to test the FA market without even negotiating.
I'd pay attention to work ethic when it comes to prospects. A guy who may be an 80 for overall potential may actually be less worth your time than a guy at a 70-75 if the former has a terrible ethic. |

Popularity affects fan interest which can boost (or hurt when popular players leave) attendance and therefore revenue. Perhaps merchandising revenue as well. Morale affects how well a player plays. For personality, see below.
I agree strongly with what Carplos says about work ethic. I find myself keying in on that in every draft and trade. A player with weak work ethic will probably never meet his potential, and I see AI passing on 5-star potential players and offering same in trades with red work ethic ratings all the time. BTW, before you even think of asking, high blue numbers for Desire for Winning Team/Greed are bad. That's been asked before and confirmed.
