Coaches and Managers

what part of the season do coaches and managers become avaliable to sign. I look in search coaches and there are many that are not on teams but under the avaliable personnell there is nobody

Well, existing coaches and managers usually become available at the end of the season when they are fired most often. However, if you are short on personnel in the game overall, you can go to the Available Personnel screen and create more if you are signed on as the commissioner.

Oh, I just re-read your question. If you see personnel in Staff Search who are not on teams but none in Available Personnel, you may have filters set. Clear them and make sure the ratings view matches the preferred occupation. There should not be a mismatch between the two screens.

there was a problem w/the pre-8.0.0.13 MLB quickstart where there were no personnel in the available pool for any teams to sign but that was resolved w/the new patch. not sure if this may be your scenario but make sure you are patched. otherwise what '98 Yanks said.
