1)Is it worth it to buy OOTP when there will be a new game coming out around may?

2) Does it take paypal?

May is more than four months away. If you think you'll get $30 (or whatever the price is) of enjoyment out of the game in the next few months, then give it a shot.

1.5GB of Ram (upgraded from 512MB)

What will the new game be called since ooptb 8 has already been taken or did the game that just came out is the new one?

The game in the spring will be OOTP9 as far as I know. Markus & Co. go with the OOTP1/2/3/etc. system, it was the SI collaborative efforts that were labeled 2006 and 2007.
