Online League - Promoting a Scout

I'm attempting to promote a scout from AA into an empty spot #5 in my ML scouting squad. Every time I attempt this the game crashes. I am using the "Final" patch.

Can you create another small, test league and try to reproduce this error? I'm trying to figure out whether it's something particular to your saved game or to your installation/the game in general.
