Exclamation Pbrl Has An Opening (6.5)

If you hang around the Dynasty forums, you may have read about the PBRL..

We're a talent-only histo-fictional (real teams, fictional players) 6.5 league currently entering our 21st live season: 1931. The first 10 seasons were simmed to provide a bit of history, and we go through one season every 3 weeks or so.

If you enjoy a fast sim, competitive league with a lot of chatter, the PBRL may be right for you. The current open team is the St. Louis Browns, a team on the rise.

The Browns won the first live World Series in 1911, had a bit of a downturn, made it back to the world series in 1926, rebuilt again and are on their way back up with the #6 minor league system.

Here are some of the features of the PBRL:
  • An AI-run Federal League that stole away players from each team in 1914
  • World War I complete, with World war II coming soon
  • Minimum of 5 sims per week, with the occasional weekend sim.
  • Live World Series chatroom broadcasts
  • Random free agents assigned to random teams each year to simulate scouting. I use a spreadsheet to make sure it balances out every 3-4 years.
  • The order of the first round of each draft is chosen via a weighted lottery to encourage competition
  • An enhanced Catobase with OPS+, ERA+ and Secondary Average added

We are an EXTREMELY active league with busy forums.

If interested, either PM me here, sign up for the forums at the league site, or email me at metsgeek@yahoo.com.

An absolutley AWESOME league, with a great commish and great GM's (except for a few who shall remain nameless (Cardinals and that "other" Bsoton team).

Seriously guys this the BEST and most fun league I have ever been in, even though the Red Sox have sucked (mostly my own fault) since I joined.

uhm, your plans of inviting me into the league just so you wouldn't be the worst GM have back fired. The StL(N) Cardinals almost have a winning record at the halfway point in the season!

Best.League.Ever. (since the NWBL ended it's run. Charles Fox, you still out there?!)

Great league, great commish. Nothing beats a fast paced sim league. You'll really get immersed.

C'mon, this the BEST league you will have ever been in and you've only got a few more seasons (a month or 2 REAL time) before you'll be battling the resurging Red Sox for the AL crown.....
