Rule 5 Draft Error New Patch

When your in the Rule 5 draft and you click skip this pick it says you cannot draft. Now this is a new error in the game that came with the patch. The only way around it is to click complete draft....Thanks

Did you do an "uninstall/install" of the full new version or did you just apply patch 3. (On MAC or PC)?

I posted this error to the supp beta board, but I guess it wasn't fixed. It only occurs if your team's 40-man roster is full. The bug arises because another bug was fixed; it used to be possible to make a rule 5 selection even if your 40 man roster was maxed out. Now, when you click the 'Skip this Pick' button, the game seems to check your roster size as though you were trying to make a selection, prompting an error message. You can skip ahead to the end of the round, or to your team's next pick, I believe.

I did a full install because I couldn't wait, its not a biggy because if your not drafting you just select complete draft. But it is something new with the new patch.

You are right it doesn't really hinder the game in anyway, but it is there and wasn't before patch. I don't expect them to do anything because it is such a minor thing and we all want them working on the 2008 game...

Would this error harm on-line leagues who were trying to manually enter in a league's worth of Rule 5 picks?

Looks like it. I can't figure out how to get past it. That's not good.

For an online league, major thing. Of course I could care less about 2008 at this point.

Sorry about that, having never played in an on line league, I completely forgot about you guys. So I take it back... Atleast Markus is on it quickly.
