Greatest Generation Baseball has 1 opening

Greatest Generation Baseball, a historical 6.5 league simulating the post-war "Golden Age" of baseball has one opening.

We just wrapped up our first (1948) season and are about to begin the 1949 off-season. GGB's player pool is rated not only on big league stats but also MLE'd minor league stats to round out the careers of those 'cup of coffee' guys who are never rated correctly by the sim because of their short MLB careers. This also means that players debut in their first pro season, so you get 'em earlier than you might otherwise.

The available team is the White Sox. They had a horrible season and will have the top pick in the upcoming rookie draft (which will start tomorrow - 9/26) but have the league's lowest payroll and are in a great position to make a big splash in free agency.

Yes, financials are on and the player pool is large so each team has around 50 players in their systems. Scouts & coaches are off. We move quickly, alternating 7 and 8 day sims, simming every weekday to move through a season in less than six weeks, with a one-week off-season.
