The Laseron Baseball Association has an opening for the Mist Watchmen. The league has just converted to v2007. Opening Day was Wednesday night.

The Laseron Baseball Assoiciation is fictional league setup in a fictional world. (See map of Laseron) It has two leagues of two divisions each with five teams, for a total of 20 teams.

- The league has been in existence since June, 2002.
- We will be beginning our 26th season.
- We are using v2007. (version 2.0.2.53)
- We sim one week on Mondays and Wednesdays. And we sim two weeks on Saturday.
- The division winners and two wild cards make the playoffs in each league.
- There is an $85 million salary cap and a $15 million team cash maximum.

* History simmed since 1913 in v65
* Limited resources
* 5 Round Draft
* Generate Players for 6 Rounds
* Allow FA to go from LIL to LBA
* Don't allow trades from LIL to LBA
* Can be managed by owners on waiting list

Association of Baseball Academies

* College League
* Will NOT be a feeder league.
* Ages 18-21
* 12 teams
* 2 leagues
* Northern Conference (Alaris, Dark Isles, Kronnus, Laseron Coast Guard, Minos, Rivar)
* Southern Conference (Firun, Mist Tech, University of Elos, West Elos University, Salara, Tempura)
* Minor League (HS) (limit roster size to 15 players)
* Can be managed by owners on waiting list

Statistically, the league mimics the majors late sixties, early seventies. We've just changed to a 162 game schedule. Dominant pitchers can have ERAs below 2.00. But there is a fair amount of offense. We've had one player go 50-50. We've had another player bat .400, while three other players have come close. Still, we regularly have players hit .300 with 20+ HRs and 110+ RBI and win our Rick Blast Award.

Mist is a rebuilding project. They have good player, Earl Wright, who is still in his prime. see Mist Roster

Currently their minor league system is ranked 12th out of 20 teams. But their top prospect Jack Slater is the 2nd best prospect in the league. see Top Minor League Systems

But Mist has four of the forty picks in the next ammy draft. They have two first round picks and two second round picks. Including the third pick overall. see Rookie Draft Pool

The draft begins Friday so there's still time to get in amke that number three select.

The league encourages writing, but the only requirement is to respond to trades in a timely manner and remain active with respect to exports and drafts.

Great Fictional League that has been around for a long time with friendly helpful owners.

We are making the dive into 2007, so now is the time to get onboard.

The opening at Mist has been filled. We now have an opening in Whitesand.

This team is also a rebuilding project. But it is not without talent.
Joseph Wing is one of the top catchers in the league. R. J. Hill is a future hall of famer. He's still producing at age 33. And Ray Lambert is one of the top closers in the league. See Positional Strength Overview.

The new owner would have to rebuild the minor league system. It is 19th out of 20 teams. But we are currently starting our amateur draft. Whitesand has the 13th pick and will be picking on Monday. See Draft Pool.
