College Template with Historical League?

This goes back a few months and I'll admit I'm not up to speed on a lot of the roster developments (which really make this game great).

When the college template came out, I wanted to use that in concert with the historical so that I'd have both historical and fictional players at the same time (although I wasn't opposed to limiting the # of fictional players initially).

I believe it was set with a default year of 2007 for schedule. As a result, the only way I could have both work while starting with historical players in 1950, is to change the dates in the .csv roster files.

Is there a way to use the college template with an historical setup (i.e. appropriate expansion, players, etc)? Has one been made?

I thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts. I just didn't have much success when I tried to change the .csv files. I had some, but it was a lot of work and I wasn't sure I changed all the right files.

Any thoughts on how I can get this to work? If it's a case where what I want isn't feasible, would I be able to play my league out to 2007 and then import all of those stats into the appropriate template?
