Players drafted multiple times from my draft picks
It seems players are getting drafted from my team after I pick them in the First-Year selection draft. This is Mr. Prickett.
He was drafted multiple times by MY team, the Rangers, and then finally ended up in the free agency pool where he signed on the 9th of June with someone else. Here's Mr. White. He was my #2 pick. He was later drafted that same round by another team, where he stayed. Here's Arizona's transaction log from the draft. It looks nice and clean. Notice Mr. White there, drafted. Here's my transaction log from the draft: Here's the long from the day after the draft, when I noticed that I had guys sitting in my DFA transaction window. All the guys 'demoted' from nowhere to rookie/etc were draft picks that stuck to my team: While drafting, I let the computer finish things out when my pick came around in the 4th round (I didn't notice anything was going wrong). I have minor league transactions and lines set to let the computer handle things. I only spotted this problem when I went to go trade Mr. White later that month. Fortunately, I have the logs still. Forgot to put the game version. I'm playing with the latest version, 2.0.2.
Also, if needed, I have the save still. |

This just happened to me again, in a new league I started. In the second year, my first second round pick in the First-Year selection draft was a compensory pick. When my pick came up, I hit the scout recommend button, and then decided to draft the guy my scout recommended. I hit the 'Draft Player' button on the guy I was recommended, and then hit the 'Auto-Draft - Until my next selection' option. My next pick was 3 slots later, and lo and behold my scout recommened the same guy again, who was listed in the window still. I checked the draft log, and it shows I picked him with my last pick, but he's not on my team.
Can someone please look at this/comment? I have a pre-draft backup if needed too. |

And after trying the next round....same thing happened. Picked a guy and he didn't stay picked. I basically can't progress in a a league because of this.

Sorry to keep replying, but I keep discovering things. If I do not have the player I want to pick put in the 'Selected Player' window, the pick sticks to me. If I pull up the player, the pick does NOT stick and the player remains in the pool.

And one last thing (I think). I reloaded the backup and tried doing the draft again. I auto-drafted to my first pick (and only pick) in the first round. I didn't have the scout recommend, and I right clicked on the player I wanted. The guy WAS NOT removed from the pool, the 'Selected Player' window said 'Not your turn', and no pick was shown in the 'Draft Info' window. I auto-drafted to my next pick (noticed in the log my first round guy was picked later by someone else) and repeated the process with my consolation pick and the whole thing happened again using the same steps.

Does this appear to be the issue previously logged as TT 3660?

Nope. I'm not drafting out of order or from another screen other than the main draft screen. I'm picking a player, and its not taking that player out of the available pool, but its logging the pick in the draft log and moving to the next pick.

This was marked as something that cannot be reproduced (at least with the updated builds. There may have been a related bug or two that has been fixed that may have incidentally cleared this up as well.)
