Crackerjackbaseball league opening

The Crackerjackbaseball league has an opening for a GM for either the Boston or Pittsburgh teams.

Our league is entering season #27 over about five years. We use real MLB rookies and a modified league setup (only 26 teams). The league is about to enter the January off-season for free agecy and drafting.

I think Boston is filled but we still have Pittsburgh open, or get on the waiting list!!

To elaborate, this is a real player 6.51 league currently entering 1996.

The Pirates have tons of cap room and cash in the bank, and their best prospects are Alex Gonzalez and Dustin Hermanson. In terms of fully developed talent, the Pirates have a roided-up Jose Canseco, who has led the NL in HR on three occasions, Danny Tartabull, Ray Lankford, Carlos Baerga, and Brian Jordan. Their ace is Mark Langston, with Doc Gooden also in the rotation. There are some contract decisions needed this season, but with cash and cap room in the bank, there's no real problems.

The 1996 season has started and Pittsburgh is out of the gates at 2-3, its a pivotal time for this team. Will they try to move superstar Jose Canseco or add pieces to the that now to make a run?

Pittsburgh is still open in the CJBL, we use 6.51 OOTP, edit the rookie draft, allow trading of picks, we are also one of the longest running leagues on the net. Sims are 3 times a week, get on board now and e-mail me!!
