possible stat bugs

I've started a fictional league in the 1870's and loaded the league stat setting from 1901. What I'm getting are some very strange stats in 2 categories.
1. I have guys stealing 30, 40, 45, etc bases but getting caught stealing almost as many times. This doesn't seem right to me if they're getting caught as much as they're successful they shouldn't be stealing that much!

2. The leading pitcher in strikeout is only in the 50-120 range and they're walks are very high. This doesn't seem realistic to me.

Thanks for the game it is awesome but these two areas bother me when I play.

Could you post some specific examples, perhaps with screenshots?
