Fictional British Setup

I've just finished creating a fictional British setup that I put together for my own amusement, and wondered whether anyone else would be interested, hence this post.

As a massive motorcycle speedway fan, I've used team names and logos from the British speedway scene and come up with this setup ...

British Baseball League

Elite League (Major League Level) - Comprising of ten teams split into two divisions of five.

Premier League (AAA) - As above. Teams are affiliated.

Conference League (AA) - As above. Teams are affiliated.

And then, just to add something extra ...

British Independant League - Eight teams split into two divisions of four. I've set this up under the same 'umbrella' as the Elite League, but the teams are not affiliated. It tends to end up filled with scrubs, but the occasional 'star' does seem to find his way in there. Added to represent a 'breakaway' league. Age limit: 30yo and under.

Veterans League - A place where those guys aged 30 and over, who were ignored by Elite League clubs, can pick up a bat and swing away during the summer. One division of four teams.

All leagues play a fifty game season, I've incorporated SkyDog's excellent modifiers, and adjusted the financial aspect to reflect baseball's lower profile here in the UK.

My most recent test sim went twenty-five years, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. The only issue I've come across is the odd 'underage' player joining the Vet league, but they only tend to stay there for one year, so I've told myself that the Vet league teams are allowed 'wildcard' players as a way to explain it away.

Here are a few of the uniforms (they're not up to the same standard as you guys who put out some excellent work, but they do the job I guess) ...

From left to right; Belle Vue Aces, Wolverhampton Wolves, Ipswich Witches, Poole Pirates, Reading Bulldogs.

I can make this available as either a saved game or world template, and would obviously upload a seperate file for just the images too.

I fully appreciate that there probably won't be much call for this, but I've found this forum SO helpful since purchasing OOTPB 2007 (the search function on these boards is a wonderful thing) that I figured if just one person got some joy out of this then it would be a small way to say 'thank you' back to the community.

I'd be very interested. I've been using the other English Baseball quickstart and it's a lot of fun. The more the merrier.
