Historical GB:FB Ratios?

Garlon Hall Of Famer Join Date: Jun 2004 Posts: 4,366	Historical GB:FB Ratios? Does anyone have data or a link to find yearly historical GB:FB league total ratios from 1871-2006? Modern baseball is about 55% groundballs (in terms of outs made on balls in play), about a 1.2:1 Groundball to Flyball Ratio. If the GB:FB ratio was significantly different in certain time periods we may be able to model it within OOTP historicals next year. Last edited by Garlon; 06-20-2007 at 07:16 PM.
