Pitcher throws after being replaced by PH

In two games so far, I've replaced my pitcher with a pinch hitter in the 8th inning.

Then I "autoplay" the game to conclusion and discover that the pitcher pitched the 9th inning after being replaced.

So I guess I have to manually play the game out, and replace the pitcher myself. Otherwise the box score and the game are unrealistic.

Which version of OOTP 2007 are you using, please?

Exactly when you do select to autoplay? Right after the pinch hitter comes to bat? Right after the inning ends?

Is your team out of eligible pitchers? Out of non-tired pitchers?

I am using the latest patch.

I set it to autoplay after the inning ended.

The team is not out of eligble pitchers and there are pitchers available that aren't tired.

Haven't run into the bug again, because I now autoplay to the end of the half inning and manually replace the pinch hitter.
