Time Warp HOF Ballot 1973

The Time Warp Baseball League is back up and running with the blessing of its founder, Matt. This is the annual Hall of Fame thread.

This year's class includes:

(a) the All-Time Home Run King hitting the ballot even as his record is being chased

(b) the winner of the most games in the Post War (a/k/a "Live") Era of TWB

(c) the third man to win four straight Pitcher of the Years Awards. The only other two do have done it are the All-Time Wins holder Frank Smith form 1937-40, and the man the award is now named after in honor of: the Great One Andrew Murphy winning six straight from 1912-17.

Have at it.

1936 Initial Ballot Results, 1937 Results, 1938 Results, 1939 Results, 1940 Results, 1941 Results, 1942 Results, 1943 Results, 1944 Results, 1945 Results, 1946 Results, 1947 Results, 1948 Results, 1949 Results, 1950 Results, 1951 Results, 1952 Results, 1953 Results, 1954 Results, 1955 Results, 1956 Results, 1957 Results, 1958 Results, 1959 Results, 1960 Results (lost in board crash), 1961 Results, 1962 Results, 1963 Results, 1964 Results, 1965 Results, 1966 Results, 1967 Results, 1968 Results, 1969 Results, 1970 Results, 1971 Results, 1972 Results

All players who received at least 5% of votes on the last ballot were retained for this ballot. I also added players who became eligible for the ballot in 1970 (retired after 1964 season).

All players not receiving 5% of votes on this ballot will be removed. Also, all players who have been retired for 20 years fall off this ballot if not elected.

Vote for as many or as few as you want. Max votes are 10.

PLEASE NOTE:
Players who lost service time to the war are denoted with: WWII

Note: OPS+ and ERA+ are listed for all players now. 100 is considered league average. The higher the # the better the player. This lets you see how they did in relation to the players of their generation while also letting you compare their dominance of the league to players from different eras.

This league lives?

Good job guys!
Hmm...I know I said I didnt want back in, but that was 4 months ago when it looked like it was all but dead.
Are there perhaps any GM spots for a former GM and fan?

Count your votes, creed. Which of the 11 should John cut?

I can never figure out where Creed votes for Davis over Cook. He had them both, at the same time. Cook was the more valuable player to his team.

Same goes with Cook vs. Nunez to a degree. If I ever expected Chris to pull a homer vote, it would be for the guy who went 1-3-3-3-3 in the NL in runs scored in the four years he played for the Reds. Both of the guys played on three pennant winners and a world champion with the Cards. Only one of them then went on to bag two world titles in Cincy.
