question about loading any mod

I'm struggling getting my game ready to play. I don't know how all this stuff works so I have a couple of questions that I'm dying to have answered.

This is where I get confused...

Say I downloaded some jersey logos. I'm guessing these go in the "My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\logos" area right? I did that, but the logos do not show. How do I get these in my game?

I also downloaded a mod of jerseys from the 1900s, 1910s, etc. and put them in the same place. These will not show up in my historical league either.

Where would I put these so I can use them in my game? And, once I get them in my game, do I put the entire folder into another folder or do I take each logo file out individually and place it in its proper folder? Do I need to delete anything (i.e. logos that come with the game) in order for them to work?

If my questions are confusing it's because I'm obviously confused. PLEASE help! Anything would be appreciated.
