There's a sticky in the FAQ forum about playing with real rosters.

Be aware that there are no finalized 2007 rosters available yet, but there are a couple of beta sets.

Keep in mind, too.. that with this.. or any game for that matter, the "true" players' ratings are still ultimately based on another person's opinion of their talent and potential.

Sure, you can pretty accurately figure out what attributes are going to produce what level of statistics, but for prospects, and many other aspects of the game, you're going largely based on what peoples' opinions are, and those are always going to vary, especially when it comes to defensive range, baserunning abilities, and intangibles, like work ethic, greed... etc, etc. I personally wouldn't use the real rosters, even if the makers came out with them.

Ya, I know how it works I am in a few Sim hockey leagues.

I am still having a hard time trying to get even the 2006 rosters once I am starting a new game in the trial version. If some one could PM me and maybe walk me through it that would be great.

Thanks

Download the rosters.

Save the file in my documents/sports interactive/ootp baseball 2007/data/saved_games

Unzip. If the file is a .rar you probably need to use Winrar or a tool that can handle .rar files.

Make sure the league folder ends in .lg

Start the game, open a saved game, select your league.
